Sunbeam Lotus cars of varying condition often appear on auction site eBay. If you are interesting in purchasing a car seen there, why not drop us a line to see what we know about that particular car, or if you have any other questions about the cars. Some examples seen advertised are not well described and this can lead to buyers being unaware of important aspects that are known to us at SLOC. As with buying any car, wherever it is advertised, you must have a good look at the car and preferably have a mechanic check it over (they don't need to be an expert on Sunbeams, as most things to look for are common with any other vehicle).

Most importantly, be very wary of cars that are advertised at low prices. As ever, if something looks too good to be true, it usually is. We have seen Sunbeam Lotus listings on eBay for cars that have already been sold (and we have posted warning to members via our forum); unfortunately, we know of several unsuspecting 'buyers' who have sent off money and found that it was all a scam.
